Senior Backend Engineer (Python)

Backend Technologies

Our backend engineers are responsible for implementing and maintaining a variety of features, including algorithms, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data pipelines, in-app messaging, real-time notifications, and fraud prevention.

The primary programming language used by our backend engineers is Python, and they primarily work with the Django web framework. We have been moving towards a more service-oriented architecture, which means that our engineers are increasingly working on developing separate services that communicate with each other.

In addition to Python and Django, the rest of our tech stack includes the Django REST Framework for building RESTful APIs and PostgreSQL for our database management system.
