Java Developer

Client Requirements

Client is looking for a Java developer with the following skills and experience:

Required Skills

• Java 11 or newer version
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
• Experience with Spring framework
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture
• Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Experience

As Macquarie has small teams, the client prefers a developer who can work effectively in such an environment.

Technical Skills

The candidate should have experience with the following technologies:

• Spring Boot
• Microservices
• AWS services
• Build tools like Maven and Gradle
• Java Persistence API (JPA)
• Java Messaging Service (JMS)
• JUnit testing framework
• Continuous Integration tools like Bamboo
• Code repository tools like Stash
• IDE tools like IntelliJ IDEA

Good to have

Additionally, experience with the following technologies would be beneficial:

• ArgoCD
• Kubernetes
• Docker
• Grafana
• Splunk

Nice to have

While not mandatory, familiarity with SonarQube would be advantageous.

Key Competencies

The successful candidate should possess the ability to manage tasks independently without direct supervision.
